Practice

Emily brings 8 years of teaching experience to her practice in Williamsburg, VA

She has taught at the College of William and Mary’s Department of Theatre Speech and Dance and at the Alexander Teacher Training Center in Charlottesville, VA.

Training

Emily completed a 3-year Alexander training course in 2002

She received her teaching certificate from the Constructive Teaching Centre in London, England. Emily is a certified member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT).

She completed an apprenticeship with the Master of Movement at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in 2003.

She has taught at

Fun

She loves to bike, read, sew and visit friends in New York City

She lives in Williamsburg, VA with her husband Brad and their cat, Petunia and aims to live by the motto “we’re here to have fun”.
